Security
-----------------------
It's good practice to ensure your home wireless network is safe.
Being the "tech person" at home isn't always easy.
The wireless products that you purchase usually come with some free tech support for setting
up your wireless. Remember to ask them to help you make your wireless connection
secure. And don't forget to write down the settings and put them in a safe place just in case you
ever have to redo your wireless network.
If your support time frame has run out, there are many resources online concerning the
setup of your product. Chances are good someone else is or has had the same problems you are having.
Wireless security at work should be practiced at home too!
Network
-----------------------
Are you a business owner and want to install some category5e network cable in your building?
Always remember, your cable length should NOT exceed 100 meters (329 feet.) If it is longer, you
will notice signal dedegration and EMI interference.
Try to keep your cable shorter than 100 meters. If you need to go longer than 100 meters, you might want to look
into getting a signal repeater.
